Lyne House offers very special accommodation in an excellent location near Oxford. Originally part of Lyne Farm, the main house was built in the 17th century and formed part of the Duke of Marlborough’s Blenheim Palace estates. Today its five elegant double rooms and large guest sitting room offer personalised comfort and old world charm with all the modern conveniences and quality food that our discerning guests expect.

 There is ample free parking on site and a secluded garden and two patio areas are ideal for summer breakfasts. Each room has the following as standard: en suite or private bathrooms, extra comfortable beds, superior linen, free flat screen TVs with built-in DVD players, free WiFi internet connections, fluffy towels, his & hers dressing gowns and slippers, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

 From the main gate the centre of Kidlington village is a 2 minute stroll with a number of fine old pubs and all the usual amenities. Fine dining is to be found at a number of restaurants in the vicinity while Oxford, with its famous colleges and museums, is a convenient 15 minute bus ride away. The World Heritage Site, Blenheim Palace, is less than 4 miles from our gates and the shopping mecca of Bicester Village is within easy reach 9 miles to the North. The beautiful Cotswolds roll away to the West and Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon is less than an hour’s drive to the North.
